I looked up
Saw things slipping
I freaked out
I pick up my phone
call for help
someone answers
He said, “look within.
My children
Are never empty.”
The tree is inside
but the seed must let go first
trust, surrender, and transform
Before we burst forth
We embrace our true self
Become free to produce fruit
You aren’t losing
You are reviving your true nature
Bury the old nature in Christ
Activate the new man
Planted by Christ in you
Through his resurrection
Let go, don’t chase,
Commit to God
and trust Him.
Trust in him at all times, you people; pour out your hearts to him, for God is our refuge. Psalm 62:8.
When life circumstances become overwhelming and things seem out of control in the natural, turn to God and connect in the spirit. The Bible instructs us to worship in spirit and truth (John 4:23-24). It is hard to trust with what you cannot experience with your natural senses, but when you cling to God your circumstances will lose their grip on you. He will lift you up to soar like eagles above the pains, trials etc.
“Being able to be your true self is one of the strongest components of good mental health.” — Dr. Lauren Fogel Mersy
It takes time to get there but we can encourage one another and hold fast to our faith so that we can allow our true selves to flourish through Christ Jesus.
