You will rise up again, this isn’t the end

I see you struggling to keep up your best

There is a season assigned to every trend

The sun to give light to the day from the east

And the moon to shine down as you rest

There is strength for the weary in the midst of the test

Silence, at present, maybe your best friend

Let the spirit within you rise up to manifest

Your race may seem endless, you need a Godsend

Cheer up my beloved, you’ll rise up again

Sometimes you find yourself in a season of silence, and you’re struggling because there are no words to match your present situation. To make matters worse, you are not sure whether people are ready to hear what is really going on in your life. I hear you. I know how it feels to want to say the right words at the right time to uplift or motivate someone else when your own feelings aren’t matching what you are about to say. Keep believing and do not lose faith. Take a break and breathe out. The world will not stop because you’re recharging. Recharge all you want, and come back even stronger than ever before.

For we do not have a high priest who is unable to sympathize with our weaknesses, but we have one who has been tempted in every way, just as we are—yet was without sin. HEBREWS 4:15

I like the idea of believing that there’s a time and place for everything and that giving up isn’t our only option. Great message! Thanks for sharing, Marie!

    1. Marie Cook – I am a food lover, and cooking is therapeutic for me; it relaxes me and transports me to a quieter universe away from the noisy, busy modern world. I am a Counseling Mental Health & Wellness graduate student, wife, and stepmother. I love connecting with people from different cultural backgrounds through food, fashion, wisdom, and lifestyle in general. To be continued because I am still in the process of discovering who I am as I continue this journey called life. I promise to keep you all posted in the meantime.

You’re welcome Lashaan. Of course, giving up isn’t the only option. Thanks for the insight.
