The Art Of Christian Living

Exploring & Sharing Life | Lessons | Experiences

I must practice my steps and moves
So that when life asks me to dance I won’t trip and lose balance
But dance like David in the dance floor of life

I must learn to listen like a musician
So that when life starts playing its music
I will dance in the rhythm like a symphony of harmonious melodies in the dance floor of life

I must learn to be flexible with my body
So that when life plays me a song
I can move fast and slow with the rhythm and meter
While covered by the color of music in the dance floor of life

I must learn to nurse my wounds and pain
So that when life tricks me with complex styles of music and I missed a step
I can nurture my weary soul and feel the master’s touch as I prevail in the dance floor of life

Get ready to dance, for life will always ask, and does not care whether you can dance or not. Or whether you know or like the song. Dance with life as you take each step toward uncovering the beauty, color, and the texture of music life may play for you.

Dancing requires practice. Let’s dance with vibrancy and cheer for one another in the dance floor of life.

Happy Saturday to you all, and thank you for reading. Wishing you all a wonderful weekend:)

    1. Marie Cook – I am a food lover, and cooking is therapeutic for me; it relaxes me and transports me to a quieter universe away from the noisy, busy modern world. I am a Counseling Mental Health & Wellness graduate student, wife, and stepmother. I love connecting with people from different cultural backgrounds through food, fashion, wisdom, and lifestyle in general. To be continued because I am still in the process of discovering who I am as I continue this journey called life. I promise to keep you all posted in the meantime.

    My highlight and favorite lines.
Surely both those who know how to dance and those who don’t are going to get some injuries at some points.
The need to heed that advice becomes of most importance.
Thanks for sharing and do have a lovely Saturday
