“Those Who Improve With Age Embrace The Power Of Personal Growth And Personal Achievement And Begin To Replace Youth With Wisdom, Innocence With Understanding, And Lack Of Purpose With Self-Actualization.”
Bo Bennett
Is not wisdom found among the aged?
Does not long life bring understanding? Job 12:12
Sometimes we live life forward and understand it backward. Only with time do some things become clear to us. Aging or growing has it’s own benefits and one of them is the attainment of “Wisdom”. That’s why my culture, and other cultures too, hold high regard for the opinions of their elders.
What they say matters a lot because many of them have gone through things that we are currently going through, and listening to what they have to say will not hurt us, but only increase our knowledge and understanding of the matter or situation.
Finally, let’s be mindful of our actions, attitudes, and relationships with others so that our own aging may lend to self-actualization and not regrets.
Age In Grace.
Yes, for some people.
But for many, more experience (in time) makes them more indoctrinated, more dependent on nonsensical drivel, and stuck even deeper in their ruts.
Of course yes, there is always an exception in life regarding most things.
